Jacqueline Cory 2

Master Craftswoman – Handmade Furnishings – Since 1963

Irrespective of the style or scope of the client’s needs, Jacqueline brings to each client her vast knowledge of interior design, soft furnishings, handmade traditional skills and a seemingly unbounded love of fabric.

A lifetime love affair with fabric, design and crafting beautiful interiors began near Bond Street London, when Jacqueline, then aged just fifteen and a half years old, joined the team of one of London’s leading furnishing companies.
Immersed in learning about the full gamut of soft furnishings, carpets and upholstery, Jacqueline worked alongside master craftsmen in the fulfilment of commissions for large homes in Belgrave Square and Mayfair, as well as many large country homes.

Jacqueline established her business in Sydney in 1977 and her curtains and soft furnishings grace many of the most beautiful homes in Australia, her work often being featured in such publications as Vogue Living, Belle and House and Garden.
As a Master Craftswoman (Guild of the United Kingdom), Jacqueline was commissioned to carry out major restoration works of the furnishings in the State Rooms of Government House Sydney.

Clients marvel at her level of service excellence, her special attention to detail and her commitment to bring her client’s vision to life.
Jacqueline’s many longer term commissions extend over a number of years, working with clients as their plans unfold.
Having worked for many famous and wealthy clients over many years, Jacqueline is noted also for her discretion.
